Zeck Peak JG Classic

With the Peak JG 1, Zeck wanted to demonstrate what the cutting edge of rod-making looked like at the time of development, without completely disregarding value for money. At Zeck, practicality traditionally takes precedence over fancy names on paper, which is why they deliberately opted against flashy Torzite inserts or completely overpriced titanium frames—which don’t make the blank noticeably faster—even for the Fuji guides. Their predator rod lineup includes many spinning rods that are hard to improve upon. With the 270-centimeter-long “Zander-Jigge,” however, they saw an opportunity to optimize the supposedly perfect rod just a little bit further. The result is the Peak JG 1. The Peak JG 1’s blank represents the ultimate in rod-building technology. The speed, combined with the diameter, weight, and length, is truly incredible. A deliberately simple design was chosen, and Zeck is convinced that many experienced zander anglers will absolutely love this tip-focused and exceptionally sensitive rod.

After Zeck demonstrated what the ultimate in rod-building technology looks like with the Peak JG 1, they responded to numerous requests and developed a 240-centimeter model. The result is the Peak JG 2. The formula remains the same, of course. The blank of the 240-centimeter-long “Zanderjigge” is incredibly fast, sensitive, and, on top of that, very light. Much like with the 270-centimeter version, you’ll likely find it hard to believe how Zeck managed to offer the Peak JG 2 in this price range. They are convinced that with the Peak JG 2, they have once again created an absolutely exceptional rod that will quickly cause just as much of a sensation as the Peak JG 1.

Both rod models are available in a simple version with a black handle and in the “Classic” version with a cork handle. Each of these rods is securely packaged and delivered in a high-quality rod case.
