The Balzer Bombay is a compact stationary reel with a finely adjustable front brake and aluminium long-cast spool, designed for smooth running and controlled casting. Its technical features are aimed at reliable function, smooth running and even line lay.

Technology, brake and running performance
The reel has a precision ball bearing and a multi-stop function that allows the rotor to be stopped immediately without backlash. The finely adjustable front brake (S.D.S.) works with extra-large brake discs and ensures even, controlled braking performance. The integrated S-Hub system supports cast-optimised line lay on the spool, while Total Tolerance Control reduces mechanical tolerances to a minimum, promoting precise running. The Anti-Swing System (A.S.S.) reduces unwanted vibrations and increases the smoothness of the reel.

Line guide, spool and operation
An anti-twist line roller protects the line and prevents twisting. The aluminium long-cast spool provides even line release and supports controlled casting. The reel handle can be mounted for either left- or right-handed operation. With a gear ratio of 5.2:1, the Balzer Bombay offers a balanced retrieval speed for versatile use in spinning and all-round fishing.
