Zeck The Stone

The The Stone, as the name suggests, is ideally suited for fishing with a stone rig (or bottom rigs in general). Its soft tip action transitions into a semi-parabolic curve with a rock-solid backbone under heavy load. This is thanks to the very thick-walled blank. Such a blank design in two-piece rods is only possible by placing the joint above the handle. This concept originally comes from saltwater fishing. Zeck has already utilized it in the Vertical Spin. With The Stone, they also wanted to develop a slim blank with low weight yet enormous robustness, in addition to the ideal action. Anyone who sees this catfish rod in action for the first time will confirm that they succeeded. The softer tip allows the bait to be sucked in very easily and ensures ideal bite detection. You can use The Stone very effectively for slackline fishing. When fishing with a stone rig, the line is kept quite slack instead of being pulled tight, as was previously customary. This prevents current, wind, turbulence, and noise from reaching the main line, which are often transmitted all the way to the bait. Of course, you can also use The Stone for medium-range fishing up to nearly 150 meters. Long-range fishing at distances of several hundred meters is also no problem when combined with stone rigs.
