Zeck Pro Pike
The Pro-Pike has a semi-parabolic action. Nevertheless, the blank has a very fast recovery. Since the tip is also quite stiff, the strikes come through with plenty of power. By the way, fans of 80-gram zander rods shouldn’t be put off by this rod’s name. The blank’s direct feedback also ensures excellent performance when jigging, which is crucial not just for zander fishing. In addition to the usual rubber and metal lures—which are usually just worked slowly—the Pro-Pike also brings medium-sized jerkbaits to life. Of course, you can also use it effectively for trolling. The Pro-Pike comes in two different versions: one in all-black with an EVA handle and the Classic version with a cork handle.
The Pro-Pike in the 270 cm variant is the ultimate pike rod. Long-distance casters and shore anglers are the main target group. That’s why Zeck deliberately made the rear grip slightly longer at 37 cm. Although the rod is quite light, allowing you to fish all day without fatigue, great emphasis was placed on durability in its construction, such as the guides and grip.
Some might say that the demands on a spinning rod—which is mostly used to reel in various lures—aren’t particularly high. Nevertheless, Zeck has made it their mission to design a rod with the best possible characteristics for pike fishing. The result is the Pro-Pike. The 240 cm version, in particular, is incredibly light, despite its sturdy guides and handle, as well as its powerful blank.
Each of these predator rods is securely packaged and delivered in a high-quality rod case.
