After baiting your baitfish, slide the Bait Stop over the hook point as it emerges from the baitfish’s skin. The hook point, including the barb, must protrude from the baitfish’s skin. You must now push the Bait Stop onto the exposed hook point, past the barb. Once in place, your hook is secured and will no longer come loose from the baitfish so easily. Of course, you can also use the Bait Stop to secure worms or other baits on your catfish hook.
