The Westin Long Cast Rig Single Hook is a specially designed deadbait rig for extremely long casts, which enables secure bait fixation with a single hook, additional treble hook and integrated bait holder. It is based on Westin's proven Long Cast concept and is aimed at pike anglers who need controlled and reliable bait presentation even at long distances.

Construction and material
The rig is made from 30 lb, 7-strand steel wire, which provides reliable protection against bites and can easily withstand the high stresses of powerful long-distance casting. Inconspicuous camouflage ferrules secure all connections and ensure that the rig remains as discreet as possible in the water. The design combines an extra-strong, ultra-sharp single hook with an additional treble hook and an integrated bait holder. This combination secures the bait fish firmly to the system, while the single hook allows for precise placement and comparatively easy unhooking.

Long cast concept and bait attachment
A characteristic feature of the rig is the long loop attachment for the bait fish, which is specially designed for hard long casts. It stabilises the bait during the cast and reliably prevents it from slipping or tearing out when it hits the water. The stretched design of the leader reduces tangles during the flight phase and ensures a clean, stable presentation of the bait at the target spot.
