Shimano Aero Pro Landing Net (Fine Pan)
The Aero Pro Landing Net Range has been designed to offer an excellent combination of practicality and reliability, whilst maintaining high standards of fish welfare. The frame of this lightweight landing net is made from strong, durable, anodised aluminium that retains its shape even under heavy strain, even when large fish are landed. The frame is secured within a highly impact-resistant and ultra-strong polycarbonate (ABS) spreader block with a double screw fastening for flawless performance, and features a standard 3/8" metal thread.
The Aero Pro landing nets are available in various models to suit all situations and preferences. The smallest under-the-belly landing net has a diameter of 14" (36cm) and is perfect for small coarse fish. The 16‘ (40cm) and 18’ (46cm) sizes are perfect for larger non-predatory fish or smaller F1 carp, whilst the largest under-the-belly landing nets, with diameters of 20‘ (50cm) and 22’ (56cm), offer enough space for the biggest carp in commercial waters.
The diameter of the aluminium frame is the same for all under-the-belly landing nets. If you are one of those anglers who prefer to use smaller nets for carp fishing, you don’t have to compromise on strength. The soft, fish-friendly net features two mesh sizes. The side panels have 5mm mesh, whilst the bottom has finer 3mm mesh.
This reduces the likelihood of hooks and hair rigs snagging on the bottom of the landing net, whilst maintaining the ability to move the net swiftly through the water when landing fish. Additional stitching in high-stress areas minimises wear and tear. Combining the Aero Pro landing net heads with a Shimano Aero landing net handle creates the ultimate landing net.
