The Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Trolling BC has been specially developed and fine-tuned for trolling large lures with planer boards. It offers a powerful, medium-fast action that effortlessly handles demanding techniques and reliably reels in strong fish without hook or line breakage. The continuous rear handle and long front handle provide optimal grip, while the tip action absorbs waves and prevents unwanted triggering of the side planer. The rod is also ideal for presenting large lures without a planer board.
The 2.69 m long, two-piece rod has a moderately fast action and a casting weight of 110–250 g.
