At first glance, the Juppy looks like a slimmer version of the tried-and-tested Floki models. With its side-to-side flickering action, this 1.2-gram lure is highly effective and often provokes exciting trout bites, particularly during the so-called ‘passive phases’ around midday. It is best retrieved slowly in the upper third of the water column. Gentle twitching and regular colour changes bring out its best qualities.
