The Korda Multi Lead Clip is a versatile lead system that gives you the flexibility to use it either as a classic lead clip, dropping the lead when required, or as a 'running' version to hook even the most wary carp. The “running” set-up has proven to be particularly effective on the heavily fished Gigantica Main Lake and is one of the most effective methods for catching even the shyest fish. With running fishing, the carp cannot use the lead to release the hook, which significantly increases the success rate. If you want to get rid of the lead, for example if it gets caught in the water, you can use the pins supplied to fix the swivel or Kwik Link in the lead clip so that the lead can be released easily. For “running” fishing, simply leave the swivel or Kwik Link out of the lead clip so that the lead can slide freely upwards along the main line or leader.
