Kogha Men's Breathable waders

These premium waders are made from a three-layer, taped micro-polyester fabric that not only feels exceptionally smooth against the skin, but also impresses with its high flexibility and durability. The material ensures a comfortable fit and maximum freedom of movement – even during longer periods in the water. For additional protection, the heavily used shin and knee areas have been reinforced with abrasion-resistant material. The integrated footlets are made of 4 mm thick neoprene and offer excellent insulation against the cold – ideal for use in cooler waters. The individually adjustable shoulder straps are equipped with an elasticated drawstring for optimal support and additional comfort. A generously cut chest pocket with a waterproof zip provides ample space for important items and protects them reliably from moisture. A wading belt made of robust nylon with a practical quick-release buckle is included in the scope of delivery, increasing safety and ensuring a perfect fit. The waders meet the highest standards of waterproofing with a tested value of WP 15200 according to ISO 8M (100 cm/min) and a water vapour permeability (WVP) of 2560 – ideal for long days on the water. Also available in a stocky size (XLS) for an optimal fit for more compact body proportions.

Notes:

WP15200 stands for a water column of 15,200 mm. This means that the material can withstand water pressure exerted on the fabric by a 15.2-metre-high water column before water penetrates. The higher this value, the more waterproof the material is.

ISO 8M (100cm/min) refers to the test standard and test method: The material is exposed to water, with the water column being increased at a rate of 100 cm per minute until water penetrates the material. The ISO standard specifies how the test is carried out and at what point the material is considered waterproof.

A water vapour permeability of 2560 (g/m²/24h) means that the material can transport moisture (sweat, water vapour) well to the outside, which ensures a comfortable wearing climate and reduces sweating on the inside. This is particularly important for waders, as it ensures that they remain comfortable even during longer periods of use.
