The Luvias series has stood for extreme lightness and resilience for many years. The monocoque Zaion reel body ensures torsion-resistant mounting of the gear unit in the reel and sustained smooth running. The monocoque housing allows a larger drive wheel than usual to be used, thus achieving better power transmission and a longer service life for the gear unit. The CNC-machined aluminium Tough Digigear gearbox is extremely resilient and ensures smooth running. The Magsealed construction on the axle reliably prevents salt water and dirt particles from penetrating via the axle and increases the service life. The Longcast ABS spool made of aluminium has a special casting edge that contributes to better casting distances.
