The rod series Caldia is the ideal complement to the successful Caldia LT reels. The extremely light, fast and exceedingly thin blanks are perfectly balanced in the hand and allow hours of fatigue-free fishing.

To realize these special properties, Daiwa engineers have developed blanks using the latest technology - HVF Nanoplus technology from Daiwa. The basic principle of Nanoplus technology is that with the help of nanoalloy compound resins carbon fiber together so that very light and strong blanks can be produced.

The X45 construction prevents uncontrolled twisting of the blank, provides a very fast recovery and thus perfect bait control in any situation. Thanks to the V-Joint peg connection, the blank has maximum stability and a smooth bending curve.

The special processing of carbon fiber creates an extraordinary, shimmering blank surface in sunlight, which in combination with the high-quality handle made of AAA cork and the reel seat from Fuji contributes to a very high-quality appearance and equipment.
