TX-1B Carp

The TX-1 is Shimano’s entry-level rod for the world of carp fishing and is ideal for beginners. The TX-1 is based on a full carbon blank and features a understated design. It offers excellent all-round performance, suitable for a variety of fishing techniques, from long-range casting to close-range stalking. For those new to carp fishing looking for an affordable rod, the TX-1 offers unbeatable value for money. This well-designed rod series, featuring modern slim-shrink EVA handles, not only looks appealing but also exceeds expectations in terms of performance. All models feature a progressive action that reliably manoeuvres even the largest and most powerful carp into the landing net during the fight.

The TX-1’s full carbon blank delivers superb performance at an extremely fair price. Previously, rods in this price range were soft, heavy and not very user-friendly, but this rod series marks a real turning point. The longer models cast surprisingly far, and the progressive action effectively helps inexperienced anglers land more fish. Available in many different versions, including the long-casting Intensity models. Fitted with Shimano stainless steel guides and custom DPS reel seats, the TX-1 offers fantastic value for money.
