Spooner Sense

Ultra-light precision for spoon fishing
The Iron Trout Spooner Sense is a very light, sensitive spinning rod that has been specifically developed for ultra-light fishing with spoons for salmonids. The high-quality 24-ton carbon blank transmits even the slightest bait movements directly to the handle, enabling a quick, confident response to cautious bites.

Blank & Action
The fully parabolic blank loads cleanly even with very light lures and ensures controlled, precise casting even at short distances. During the fight, the rod works evenly right down to the handle and reliably buffers escapes, which significantly reduces the drop-off rate and keeps even fine hooks securely in the fish.

Features & Sensitivity
A spliced solid carbon tip increases feedback in the tip area and improves bite detection with passive trout. The K-type guides with SIC inserts ensure clean line guidance, are also suitable for braided lines, and minimize tangles when casting.

Handle & Design
The ergonomic EVA handle in dark gray fits securely in the hand and remains comfortable even during longer sessions. Black and orange accents emphasize the modern design and match the Iron Trout fixed spool reels perfectly.
