Shimano Yasei LTD Finesse Jigging
The Yasei LTD rod series combines the finest Japanese rod design with advanced carbon technology, which will meet and exceed the expectations of even the most demanding predator anglers. The result is a range of high-end specialist rods designed for targeted fishing for pike, zander and perch using modern techniques. For ambitious predator specialists who outwit their target fish using the latest fishing techniques, the Yasei LTD rod series offers the perfect solution. The range comprises a selection of models specifically developed for the latest fishing techniques and tailored to the respective target species. All rods in this series have been tailor-made in collaboration with some of Europe’s finest predator specialists to meet the highest standards without compromise.

By utilising exclusive Shimano carbon technologies in combination with the highest-quality components, the Yasei LTD series offers some of the most advanced and responsive rods Shimano has ever produced. Every rod in this series is based on a high-end blank made from HPC carbon featuring Spiral X Core and Nanopitch technology. Thanks to this carbon construction, the action of the blanks has been fine-tuned to perfectly suit the intended application. Among the carbon technologies used in the Yasei LTD blanks, Spiral X Core stands out as a real highlight. It reduces blank twist (lateral twisting) for greater casting precision, gives the blank additional power for better control during the fight, and significantly reduces the overall weight.

To do justice to the high-end blank, top-quality Fuji guides and reel seats are used, which further optimises overall performance and emphasises the attractive design. What immediately stands out about the Yasei LTD rods is the combination of high-quality cork and carbon in the handles. This sets them apart from other rods and makes a clear statement in terms of design and quality. The casting rods in the series also benefit from Shimano’s Carbon Monocoque handle, which ensures ultimate sensitivity and feedback. The Perch-Finesse rods feature a TAFTEC Alpha Solid Tip, demonstrating that every detail has been considered. Experienced predator specialists in search of uncompromising perfection will be thoroughly impressed by the Yasei LTD rods.

Safety instructions:

“ - Handle hooks with care: Always cover the fishing hooks or remove them from the rods for transportation. Use corks or hook covers to avoid accidental injury.
- Keep your distance: Fish at least 10 meters away from others to avoid accidents. Watch out for people behind you before casting. Be careful with carbon fiber: Carbon fiber rods are strong but can be brittle. Avoid dropping them or banging them against hard surfaces as this can cause damage.
- Safe transportation: Always take your rod apart and place it in a protective cover during transportation to prevent damage from external influences.
- Carbon fiber rods conduct electricity. Do not use them during thunderstorms or near power lines.
- Never try to pull lures or leaders out of trees or bushes by applying pressure to the rod and fishing line. This can result in the bait/lead being catapulted towards the angler. Use only your hands to free the bait/lead.

- Train beginners: Instruct children and beginners in the safe handling of rods and hooks to minimize risks.
- Safety distance: Always keep a distance of at least six meters from high-voltage power lines when carrying or using fishing rods.
- Avoid high sticking: Do not bend your rod too much while you are drilling a fish, which is known as “high sticking. Hold the rod at a maximum loading angle of 45 to 60 degrees to avoid breakage.
- Aligning the rod for snags: If your lure snags, keep the rod pointed at the hook while walking backwards to reduce the strain on the rod.
- Be careful with carbon fiber: Carbon fiber rods are strong but can be brittle. Avoid dropping them or banging them against hard surfaces as this can cause damage.
- Safe transportation: Always take your rod apart and place it in a protective cover during transportation to prevent damage from external influences.
