Crafted with Shimano’s renowned engineering expertise, the Nexave FJ offers a powerful yet smooth running action – ideal for a wide variety of target fish and fishing techniques. The lightweight yet robust construction ensures fatigue-free handling even during long sessions, whilst the precise gear system guarantees consistent performance under load. Thanks to its modern design, reliable drag and precise line lay, the Nexave FJ is a well-engineered all-round reel for a wide range of requirements – uncompromising in performance and versatility.

Behind the elegant design of the Shimano Nexave FJ lies a host of advanced technologies that deliver performance far exceeding what one would expect from an entry-level reel. The precision-engineered HAGANE gear system guarantees consistent power and smooth power transmission – for uncompromising control when fighting strong fish. SilentDrive eliminates unnecessary play and vibrations, ensuring silky-smooth rotation – perfect for controlled retrieval and precise bait presentation. The G-Free Body shifts the centre of gravity closer to the rod, thereby improving balance and handling, particularly during long sessions, whether sea bass fishing from the bank or feeder fishing on a large river.

The Varispeed II spool lift system ensures even line lay, resulting in further trouble-free casts. The AR-C aluminium spool minimises friction and enables precise long-distance casting – perfect when it comes to reaching distant spots. The Anti-Twist Fin ensures reliable line guidance and reduces wind knots, particularly with thin braided lines. Three shielded stainless steel ball bearings plus a roller bearing ensure smooth, quiet running under load and allow you to focus fully on the fight. Cleverly designed and built for durability, the Nexave FJ is the perfect introduction to the Shimano world – whether spin fishing for perch, surf fishing for sea bass, or fishing for coarse fish and feeder fishing. With its ideal balance of performance, reliability and versatility, the Nexave FJ is your perfect companion for every fishing adventure – whether you’re chasing predators, out on coastal waters or simply enjoying a relaxing day by the water.
