With its design, build quality, long-distance casting performance and technical features, the Fliegen 35SD is a first-class big-pit reel that allows you to take your casting potential to the next level. Weighing just 510g, the Fliegen is Shimano’s lightest big-pit reel. The combination of a lightweight HAGANE body, Ci4+ rotor, Rigid Cast, Infinity Drive, Silent Drive, Parallel Body and AR-C spool delivers astonishing casting distances. However, this reel is no lightweight when it comes to power. The HAGANE gear system and X-SHIP ensure a smooth and powerful line retrieval that is second to none among other Big Pit reels. And X-Protect technology protects the gear and internal mechanisms from water ingress without compromising smooth rotation. The Fly SD is also equipped with Shimano’s High Speed Drag, which can be adjusted from free spool to fully locked with a small turn of the drag knob.
