Pike Trapper

The Pike Trapper series was designed primarily for still fishing or deadbaiting with bottom rigs. This rod series is clearly focused on pike. Compared to carp rods, emphasis has been placed on tip action, stiff blanks, and sturdier tips. After all, when fishing for pike, the initial strike is crucial. During the fight, however, every Pike Trapper still demonstrates its semi-parabolic action, which can easily absorb the pike’s runs even at close range. The Rubber Cork handle material not only looks stylish but is also extremely durable and feels great in the hand. The added weight compared to cork or EVA was a deliberate choice, as it is located in the grip area and makes the Pike Trapper rods even more balanced.

The 360 cm Pike Trapper with a 3.00 lb test is ideal for bottom fishing with modern bottom rigs and also for float rigs with bait placed on the bottom (keyword: pencil). You can also cast live bait weighing over 150 grams with this rod without any problems.

The Pike Trapper 360 | 3.25 is ideal for bottom fishing with modern bottom rigs. You can also cast live bait weighing 200 grams with this rod without any problems.

The Pike Trapper 380 cm with 3.50 lb is designed for static fishing with modern bottom rigs, as well as for long-distance casting. If you deploy your rigs from a boat at distances of over 100 meters, you will appreciate the performance of these longer rods when striking and during the fight. You can also cast live bait weighing over 250 grams with this rod without any trouble.
