The PENN Tidal XT Solid Carbon rods are part of the exclusive PENN Tidal surfcasting concept and have been developed for maximum casting distance and precision. The extremely slim and lightweight blank made from 36T/40T high modulus carbon impresses with its powerful performance and is further reinforced by Carbon X-Wrap technology to reduce twisting and significantly increase casting accuracy.
The particularly sensitive tip variants ensure excellent bite detection – even with a cautious touch or in calm conditions. Equipped with saltwater-resistant Fuji K-Type guides with Alconite inserts, a robust reel seat and a special X-Shrink Casting handle, these rods offer stability, control and comfort for demanding surf fishing at the highest level.

The Tidal XT Solid Carbon Sensitip K-Type rods feature a very slim and lightweight blank made from a blend of 36T and 40T carbon. The responsive blank is also equipped with Carbon-X Wrap technology, which makes the blank even more powerful and reduces twisting, resulting in improved casting accuracy and extreme casting characteristics. The extremely sensitive Hybrid Sensitip has a slightly slimmer diameter compared to regular solid carbon tips, resulting in even better bite indication, which is particularly important in calm waters. Equipped with saltwater-resistant Fuji K-type guides with Alconite rings and a special X-Shrink casting handle, these rods are designed for extreme casting distances.
