The Uplift Boom is used to attach a sinker to the main line. The rip cord of a stone rig can also be attached to the Uplift Boom’s hook. Thanks to its buoyancy, the main line glides very smoothly through the Uplift Boom. This is particularly important when using the two-rod technique or when retrieving a stone rig, as the swivel on the rig is reeled back toward the sinker or stone.
