Zeck Quappie (Purple Chartreuse)

The Quappie is an innovative rubber lure that originated in Sebastian Hänel’s workshop. The fluttering pectoral fins on the front section of the lure draw the target fish’s attention. This is exactly where the hook is located—and where many predators prefer to attack their prey anyway. The Quappie is ideal for jigging but can also be presented using other techniques. To make the lure look as natural as possible, the Quappie has been equipped with a tiny wedge tail. This causes the tail fin to quiver, just like that of a real fish during a escape. Thanks to the thin rear half of the lure, the Quappie can be folded in wonderfully. Especially in heavily fished waters, this rubber lure makes all the difference.
