Zeck Pro-Cat Soft

The Pro-Cat Soft can be described, alongside the Pro-Cat, as arguably Zeck’s most versatile setting rod. As the name suggests, its action is slightly softer than that of the standard Pro-Cat. Especially if you aren’t constantly casting at distances over 200 meters, the Pro-Cat Soft is Zeck’s top choice when it comes to an all-around catfish rod for still fishing. The action makes fighting fish incredibly fun, even with catfish under 1.50 meters in length. You can still easily retrieve the line from the water at distances of up to about 200 meters when casting, if necessary. The blank of the Pro-Cat Soft has been in Zeck’s “drawers” since 2015. Every time they’ve shown it to other experienced catfish anglers, they’ve been absolutely thrilled. During the testing phase, the Zeck team has already managed to land quite a few big fish with it.
