A thicker spool core was deliberately chosen for this series to reduce line take-up. This eliminates the annoying threading with monofilament Line and the braided Line can be spooled on directly. The guides on the spool core prevent the smooth braided line from being overtwisted. The reels have been extensively tested by Balzers Pro Staff Team.
