Kairiki 8 (Mantis Green) 150m

The Kairiki 8 is a technologically advanced, 8-strand braided line that utilises VT Construction to achieve a thin diameter and a very smooth surface finish. It is perfect for all applications in both freshwater and saltwater, offers excellent casting performance and glides very quietly through the rod guides. Anyone who enjoys using high-quality, 8-strand braided main line will be delighted with the Shimano Kairiki 8. Compared to many other braided lines, Kairiki 8 is noticeably smoother with a rounder profile, enabling greater casting distances and allowing the line to glide more quietly through the rod guides.

Kairiki is available in many different diameters and in both high-visibility colours (yellow, mantis green and multi) as well as a muted colour (steel grey), offering an unbeatable combination of top performance and excellent value for money. The VT Construction used in the manufacture of the Kairiki 8 braids the 8 individual strands under constant tension from multiple angles simultaneously. This ensures that the individual strands lie perfectly side by side, creating a compact, round diameter. The tighter braiding allows for a smaller line diameter and a smoother surface finish, significantly optimising the performance of Shimano’s best braided line.
