The Mighty Mama is a rubber crayfish that is ideal for fishing with a Texas or Carolina rig. Its disproportionate, knobbed claws stand up during the retrieve and move seductively, causing the lure to move into an attack position. These claws are designed in such a way that they stir up a lot of sediment when dragged or dragged across the bottom of the water. Especially when dragging slowly, small “hairs” on the underside provide an additional effect by leaving traces in the sand. With its long, thin antennae and small legs, the rubber crayfish is always on the move, even at low currents. This keeps them attractive even if they remain on the bottom for longer periods of time. This continuous movement often leads to bites, as predatory fish take the bait at these moments. A particularly high-quality rubber compound is used for the lure, which is soft and flexible, but at the same time offers the necessary robustness. It is one of the best materials available in Japan.
