Discreet soft bait crab for wary predators
The Nays SCR is a compact soft bait crab with discreet, finely floating claw movements, making it ideal for situations where inconspicuous bait inspires more confidence than aggressive action baits. Its natural crab silhouette appeals primarily to perch, zander and other bottom-dwelling predators that specifically hunt crabs.

Ideal as a trailer and for finesse rigs
Its shape and size make the SCR the perfect trailer for Nays DLT Skirted Jigs, where it gives the jig an additional, realistic prey look without interfering with its action. It is also impressive on its own on various finesse rigs – such as Texas or Carolina rigs – when the bait is slowly hopped or dragged along the bottom.

Backslide technique for hard-to-reach hotspots
The backslide rig is particularly exciting: the increased salt content gives the bait a high dead weight, so that it sinks backwards. Rigged backwards on an offset hook, the SCR glides away from the angler as it sinks – directly under overhanging branches, boats or jetties, i.e. exactly into the hiding places where large predators lie in wait for their prey.
