Multi-Purpose Stinger

Replaceable stinger for dead bait rigs
The Westin Multi-Purpose Stinger is a replaceable stinger for dead bait rigs that has been specially developed for optimal bait presentation and a high hook-up rate when fishing for pike. It complements modern leader systems and allows rigs to be flexibly and efficiently adapted to different bait sizes and bite situations.

Construction and material
The stinger is made of 30 lb, 7-strand steel wire, which provides reliable protection against bites while remaining flexible enough to allow natural movement of the dead bait fish. Camouflage-coloured crimp sleeves secure all connections and ensure an inconspicuous appearance in the water. At the end of the stinger is an extra-strong, ultra-sharp treble hook, which is designed for reliable bite conversion and grips reliably even with powerful strikes. The robust workmanship ensures that the stinger remains dimensionally stable even during tough fights.

Snap ring system and area of application
A key feature of the Multi-Purpose Stinger is the integrated snap ring, which allows it to be quickly and easily attached to the main leader. This allows worn or damaged hooks to be replaced without having to replace the entire leader, which significantly increases the service life of the entire system. The Stinger is designed for fishing with dead bait fish and can be inserted in different positions depending on the size of the bait, for example in the flank, back or tail area. This allows the rig to be precisely adapted to the bait size and bite behaviour – a clear advantage, especially in heavily fished pike waters.
