Gore-Tex Standard is the all-round membrane for anglers who are outdoors in any weather. Thinsulate™ by 3M is a modern synthetic insulation for particularly effective cold protection at minimal bulk, ideal for long days by the water or icy winter trips. The extremely fine microfibres trap more air and insulate better than many other materials, keep you warm even when damp since Thinsulate absorbs almost no water, and are breathable, letting excess body moisture escape. The thin, elastic structure adds almost no bulk and is machine-washable and durable.

Vibram Sole: Italian Grip Technology for Fishing Footwear

The Vibram sole comes from the Italian manufacturer Vibram, which has developed special rubber compounds for maximum traction since the 1930s – recognisable by the yellow octagon logo. Deep lug patterns provide secure grip on wet rocks, bankside grass, or muddy ground. The vulcanised rubber is particularly durable and resistant to abrasion, even with frequent use by the water. Special compounds such as Megagrip are optimised specifically for wet conditions. This gives Vibram soles secure footing for anglers on slippery banks or in shallow water.
