Okuma Inspira ISX spinning reel – Greater stability and smooth running under load

Stability for demanding fights
The Okuma Inspira ISX has been developed to ensure reliable power transmission even under high loads. The metallic Torsion Control Armor (TCA) construction with an aluminium base offers more than five times the torsional and flexural strength of the previous generation and ensures precise alignment of the internal components.

Smooth running thanks to modern gear technology
The enlarged HDG-II main gearbox increases load capacity and supports efficient power transmission. Together with the Flite drive system and the GSS gear stabilisation system with a double-bearing pinion, the gearbox operates particularly quietly and smoothly.

Smooth rotation with FLITE DRIVE™
FLITE DRIVE™ technology reduces friction between the gear and the shaft, enabling a smooth start-up without any noticeable inertia. This ensures a light and comfortable cranking feel.

Lightweight, robust and well-balanced
The lightweight and rigid C-40X carbon housing, with side plates and rotor, combines stability with low weight. The machined aluminium spool and the A7075 spool shaft ensure balanced and fatigue-free handling.

Protection against moisture and corrosion
CFR Cyclonic Flow Rotor Technology generates an airflow around the rotor and spool. This allows the reel to dry more quickly after contact with water, reduces corrosion and extends the service life of the components. The Hydro Block II system further prevents water from penetrating the body and brake.

Reliable brake and direct power transmission
The Multi-Disc Carbonit drag system ensures consistent braking performance. The machined aluminium screw-in handle is screwed directly into the gearbox, guaranteeing a secure connection with no play. The TPE knob ensures comfort, whilst the size 5000 is fitted with a round EVA handle knob.

Robust construction for continuous use
A solid aluminium single-arm frame, 8 HPB + 1 RB grease-filled high-performance bearings, and the EFR-II Even Flow Roller System with DLC coating ensure reliable line guidance and high load-bearing capacity. The gear stabilisation design developed by Okuma further enhances the durability of the entire drive mechanism.
