In 1999, Balzer launched the very first Diabolo rod series. The aim was to produce carbon fibre rods suitable for everything from eel to zander, all at an excellent price-performance ratio. And this objective remains unchanged to this day. With the 12th (!) edition of the Diabolo series, the ‘Golden Circle’ is now complete, and Balzer is celebrating the 25th anniversary of this unique rod series. The combination of carbon tape and high-quality STARDUST varnish, together with lacquered reel seats, gives the rods a very high-quality finish. Fast, lightweight IM-7 carbon fibre blanks, Titanium SIC guides and ergonomic handles are the hallmarks of this series. A wonderfully lightweight boat rod with pronounced tip action for bottom fishing for flatfish. With a signal-red tip.
