The Baitrunner X-Aero is fitted with an oversized ‘Aero Concept’ spool and combines the advantages and comfort of a traditional Baitrunner reel with enhanced casting performance comparable to that of a compact Big Pit reel. If you are a fan of Baitrunner reels but want to increase your casting distance, the Baitrunner X-Aero is the ideal next step. The outstanding casting performance is achieved through the use of a large-diameter Aero Concept spool. And although it does not reach the extreme distances of a large Big Pit reel or the ‘big’ Baitrunner models, you will be more than impressed by the casting performance. Available in 3 sizes, the largest of which, the 10000, is a top-class carp reel for large waters.
The 8000 is perfect for medium-sized waters and the smallest 6000 has a double handle and is an excellent all-round specimen reel. Whichever you choose, you’ll be impressed by the performance. The Baitrunner X-Aero utilises Aero Wrap II and 2-Speed Oscillation for near-perfect line management on the spool. This superb line lay, combined with an AR-C spool, contributes to the impressive casting distances achieved with this elegant Baitrunner. Inside the black and silver hybrid body lies a perfectly tuned arrangement of gears and shielded A-RB ball bearings. They give the Baitrunner X-Aero the smoothness and power you’d expect from a Shimano reel, whilst also ensuring that almost 1 metre of line can be retrieved per turn of the handle.

“ - Handle hooks with care: Always cover the fishing hooks or remove them from the rods for transportation. Use corks or hook covers to avoid accidental injury.

- Safe transportation: Always take your rod apart and place it in a protective cover during transportation to prevent damage from external influences.
- Carbon fiber rods conduct electricity. Do not use them during thunderstorms or near power lines.
- Never try to pull lures or leaders out of trees or bushes by applying pressure to the rod and fishing line. This can result in the bait/lead being catapulted towards the angler. Use only your hands to free the bait/lead.
- Train beginners: Instruct children and beginners in the safe handling of rods and hooks to minimize risks.
- Safety distance: Always keep a distance of at least six meters from high-voltage power lines when carrying or using fishing rods.
- Avoid high sticking: Do not bend your rod too much while you are drilling a fish, which is known as “high sticking. Hold the rod at a maximum loading angle of 45 to 60 degrees to avoid breakage.
- Aligning the rod for snags: If your lure snags, keep the rod pointed at the hook while walking backwards to reduce the strain on the rod.
