The coating lasts an exceptionally long time. The line is soft, very quiet, and colorfast. If you’re still looking for a new favorite braided line and appreciate the value of a good line, you should definitely spool the Lure Soul PE onto your reel. With Momoi’s braided lines, Zeck tends to rely on the PE rating rather than diameter specifications. One reason for this is that braided lines have an uneven cross-section, making it virtually impossible to determine an exact diameter.

The Japanese PE rating categorizes braided lines into different weight classes. This refers not to the line’s breaking strength, but to its own weight. Lines that have the same weight for the same length are in the same PE class. Japanese line manufacturers use tables to determine this. In practice, the PE rating provides significantly more accurate information about the line’s thickness, even though the diameter isn’t measured.
