Concept & Design
The Westin W6-BC HD is an extremely robust baitcasting reel designed for large lures, high continuous loads, and powerful predatory fish. The full aluminum frame in combination with the aluminum side plate ensures maximum torsional rigidity and permanently precise drive bearing, even under high loads. 10+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearings and ceramic spool bearings ensure smooth running and excellent casting characteristics.

Drive & Operation
Inside, a powerful GT-B brass gear is designed for torque and durability. The stay-on side plate and stay-on tension knob prevent the loss of components during adjustment and facilitate maintenance. The 120 mm long CNC aluminum handle with non-slip rubber grips offers high leverage and secure control during the drill. Coordinated lubrication with three different types of grease protects the gear and bearings during intensive use.

Brake & Cast Control
The multi-stack carbon brake delivers powerful, consistent braking performance with up to approx. 13 kg of braking force. It is controlled by a double-anodized star drag with a drag clicker that provides audible feedback when the line is pulled. For controlled casting, a finely adjustable 6-stage centrifugal brake is installed, which, together with the ceramic spool bearings, enables long casting distances with a reduced risk of overflow. The integrated Fast Line Connector facilitates quick attachment of the main line.
