The Westin Pike Drifter float is a float specially developed for pike fishing with dead bait fish, combining classic float shapes with tried-and-tested ideas from modern European pike anglers. The transparent, water-green PVC material keeps the float inconspicuous underwater, while the eye-catching high-vis antenna allows for reliable bite detection even at long distances.

Construction and material
Made from robust PVC, the Pike Drifter Pose is resistant to stress when casting, drift fishing and playing powerful pike. The transparent, water-green colouring is discreet in the water and reduces the scare effect, while the upper part in a signal colour ensures maximum visibility on the surface. All models are equipped with highly visible high-visibility antennas that remain reliably visible even in waves, wind or poor lighting conditions. This allows the angler to maintain control over the bait position at all times.

Flexible mounting options
The Pike Drifter float offers two different rigging options. Firstly, the main line can be fed through an inner tube, which is fitted with a reinforced metal sleeve at the upper end. This effectively protects the line from abrasion and ensures a long service life, even with frequent use. Alternatively, the float can be rigged like a waggler using a fixed eyelet at the lower end. This allows it to be flexibly adapted to different rigs and fishing styles – from stationary presentations to active drift rigs.

Optimised for long-distance drift fishing
When drift fishing, the Pike Drifter Pose uses wind and current to allow the dead bait fish to drift in a controlled manner over long distances. The integrated sail on the top catches the wind and allows the bait to be presented far beyond the actual casting distance. Even at very long distances, the sail remains clearly visible, so that drift speed, bait position and bites can be reliably detected at all times. This makes the Westin Pike Drifter Pose an effective tool for targeted fishing for large pike at a distance.
