Tribal TX-Ultra A TX Ultra 13 ft Intensity

The Tribal TX Ultra is a remarkable example of rod-making craftsmanship at the very highest level. The unrivalled casting performance, achieved through the combination of three exclusive Shimano carbon technologies, coupled with outstanding fighting performance, make this rod series the first choice for all carp anglers who demand the very best from their tackle. If you’re looking for the ultimate long-distance casting rod, the TX Ultra is the one for you. With this rod, you can achieve casting distances previously thought unattainable, and with a precision that is second to none. The futuristic design with its understated look cuts a sensational figure by the water’s edge. For maximum casting distance and heavy leads, the Intensity models deliver record-breaking performance, whilst the 3.00lb and 3.25lb versions are designed more for medium and lighter leads.

Whichever model you choose, one thing is certain: you won’t find a better rod. The TX Ultra’s record-breaking casting performance is achieved through the use of three exclusive SHIMANO carbon technologies: Spiral X Core for torsional rigidity, Hi-Power X to reduce blank twist, and a futuristic carbon monocoque handle section for faster power transfer into the blank and a better feel during the fight. These technologies also reduce the rod’s overall weight, making it the lightest carp rod in the TX rod family. The result is a higher tip speed with maximum casting power and greater sensitivity during the fight, particularly at short distances.

With the 13ft Intensity model and a 128-gram lead, casting distances of over 220m have already been achieved. The TX Ultra not only casts further than other rods, but is also astonishingly accurate and remarkably forgiving of mistakes during the fight. All models are fitted with premium Kigan 3D rod guides (50mm starter guide/16mm anti-frap tip guide) and an exclusive custom Ci4+ reel seat, which allows the reel to blend seamlessly with the carbon monocoque handle.
