Stella FK

The Stella has always been Shimano’s undisputed flagship among fixed spool reels. The latest version has been upgraded with a whole host of technical features that guarantee the highest standards and the best possible performance on the fixed spool reel market – for anglers who want nothing less than the very best in their hands. If you are one of those anglers who refuse to compromise, you will love the latest version of the Stella. This latest product of continuous development will further cement its status as a reel icon. The improvements to this masterpiece of engineering affect virtually every part – including the gear system, line management and the drag. They not only make fishing more efficient and effective, but also ensure even more fun on the water.

Shimano calls it ‘Infinity Evolution’ – but for anglers around the world, it will simply remain ‘the Stella’. Whilst fishing with the Stella has always been an unforgettable experience, this combination of high-tech features and angling finesse is further enhanced by the “Infinity” technologies. InfinityXross represents an even more robust gear construction than the legendary Hagane gear. This extends its service life – even when constantly exposed to the harshest conditions and the power of the wildest fish. InfinityLoop describes an ultra-slow spool oscillation that results in even better line lay. This demonstrably reduces line friction during casting, resulting in more accurate and longer casts.

InfinityDrive delivers incredible power transmission. Especially when reeling in heavy opponents, it provides extra power whilst maintaining absolute smoothness. Even in the most extreme situations, this allows you to maintain consistent pressure whilst reeling. Another feature contributes to improved line lay: the Anti-Twist-Fin controls the pressure of the line being laid onto the spool at the line roller. And then there is a new drag system to mention. Duracross delivers an even smoother line release, greater durability and hooking power. The new Stella is available in 12 models, covering all applications in both freshwater and saltwater. Stella – the pinnacle of what is possible in reel technology. For anglers who want only the best tackle.
