Expride Spinning

The Expride rod series exudes quality and, with its numerous technological features, sits just below the world-famous Poison Adrena. When it comes to sensitivity and feedback, very few rods can match the breathtaking Expride. Originally developed as bass rods, it’s immediately clear why so many anglers are so enthusiastic about the Expride range. If you’re looking for a spinning or casting rod that meets the highest standards, you can stop searching now – the Expride rods leave nothing to be desired! Whether you’re using light, medium or heavy lures with a spinning or casting rod, the Expride range covers it all and excels with a sensitivity and feedback that few other rods can match. Every model in the range is even available in two versions: as a 1+1-piece rod (one-piece with a detachable handle) and as a classic 2-piece rod.

You really are spoilt for choice. The outstanding sensitivity and feedback of the Expride blanks is the result of two exclusive Shimano technologies. The High Modulus Full Carbon blanks feature the Hi-Power X construction. This reduces blank twist during casting and the fight, making the blank extremely responsive. Added to this is the Carbon Monocoque handle, which transmits more information from the blank to the hand and provides unparalleled insight into every contact the lure makes with its underwater environment. To further enhance the rod’s sensitivity and overall performance, the Expride is fitted with Fuji SiC guides and a lightweight Shimano Ci4+ reel seat.

And anyone who thinks it couldn’t get any better hasn’t yet experienced the stunning design resulting from the classic black blank combined with the front cork handle and the carbon monocoque handle. In action, the Expride impresses across the board. The 1+1-piece models feature a blank with a one-piece main section that bends with a seamless, fast action and is unrivalled in its directness. The 2-piece models, on the other hand, are significantly easier to transport and are virtually indistinguishable from the 1+1-piece models in terms of action. Expride – one of Shimano’s best rod series is now even better.
