The Baitrunner XTB-LC is available in two sizes – the ‘Big’, with its superb casting performance, and a smaller ‘Medium’ size, which is ideal for fishing at medium distances. Both are equipped with the latest technology, including oversized spools for extreme casting distances and Shimano’s famous Baitrunner free-spool system. It casts far and has incredible cranking power. Pair it with a 12 or 13-foot TX rod with Intensity action, and you have a setup with impressive performance. Inside the black Stealth body of the Baitrunner XTB-LC lies a combination of HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP. They deliver a smooth, powerful rotation with enormous cranking power to subdue even the largest carp and even the most powerful European catfish. The huge aluminium AR-C spool on the largest model holds an enormous amount of line and benefits from Slow Speed Oscillation combined with Aero Wrap, enabling breathtaking line lay. For anglers who do not require such a large line capacity, line reducers are included. For medium-sized and smaller waters, there is the ‘Medium’ version, which offers a good compromise between size and balance, whilst retaining all the key functions and features of its larger counterpart.

- Carbon fiber rods conduct electricity. Do not use them during thunderstorms or near power lines.
- Never try to pull lures or leaders out of trees or bushes by applying pressure to the rod and fishing line. This can result in the bait/lead being catapulted towards the angler. Use only your hands to free the bait/lead.
- Train beginners: Instruct children and beginners in the safe handling of rods and hooks to minimize risks.
- Safety distance: Always keep a distance of at least six meters from high-voltage power lines when carrying or using fishing rods.
- Avoid high sticking: Do not bend your rod too much while you are drilling a fish, which is known as “high sticking. Hold the rod at a maximum loading angle of 45 to 60 degrees to avoid breakage.
- Aligning the rod for snags: If your lure snags, keep the rod pointed at the hook while walking backwards to reduce the strain on the rod.
