Balrog – a powerful name for a powerful lure. The Balrog’s shape is reminiscent of a torpedo, allowing it to cut through the water with great promise as it hunts for its prey. Reeling in at a steady pace causes the lure to flank aggressively from side to side, and with small twitching movements (light taps on the rod blank whilst reeling in), the lure breaks out sharply, encouraging the trout to strike. A lure that promises additional success during passive periods.
