Designed for saltwater use
The Okuma Ceymar SW-X has been specially developed to meet the demands of saltwater fishing. The corrosion-resistant graphite body reliably protects the reel in marine environments whilst keeping its weight pleasantly low.

Dries quickly after contact with water
CFR (Cyclonic Flow Rotor) technology generates a targeted airflow around the rotor. This allows water-exposed components to dry more quickly, reducing corrosion and ensuring the reel is always ready for use.

Smooth running under load
Seven high-performance ball bearings and a roller bearing ensure smooth and effortless rotation. The corrosion-resistant HPB bearings have been specially developed for demanding saltwater conditions.

Direct power transmission when cranking
The lightweight, milled aluminium handle is screwed directly into the gearbox, reducing handle play. This creates a more direct feel when cranking, with efficient power transmission.

Greater stability and smooth running
The Flite Drive System reduces friction within the gearbox and improves smoothness. Together with the gear stabilisation system, this creates the typical Ceymar feel of control and smooth operation.

Reliable power transmission
The HDG+ main gear with a machine-cut brass pinion ensures smooth and robust power transmission. This keeps the reel running smoothly and reliably, even under heavy loads.

Controlled braking power during the fight
The multi-disc carbon fibre drag system ensures consistent braking performance and allows for precise adjustment to different fighting situations. The Hydro Block seal provides additional protection for the drag system against water.

Waterproof protection for key areas
Hydro Block O-ring seals on the spool and on both sides of the handle protect vital components from moisture and salt water, increasing the reel’s longevity.

Smooth line flow with every cast
The EFR-II Even-Flow line roller with DLC coating ensures smooth line flow and reduces wear. The solid aluminium bracket provides additional stability.

Lightweight design for comfortable fishing
The milled aluminium spool contributes to the reel’s low overall weight. The EVA handle provides a comfortable grip even during extended use.

Rotor brake for added control
The integrated rotor brake facilitates controlled handling of the reel and complements the features of the Ceymar SW-X.
