The Heli-Safe Tubing Kit makes it possible to replace leadcore and leaders by allowing the use of a helicopter rig with rig tubings. This conversion kit allows you to use the Heli-Safe system with tubing, retaining all the typical features of a helicopter rig and giving you the option of dropping the lead if required. Helicopter rigs are known for their anti-tangle properties, they can be cast a long way and the top bead can be adjusted so that the hooklink determines how it rests on the bottom.those not using heli-rigs can adjust the bead to suit the particular bottom. On hard ground, the distance is shorter, on deep weed it is increased and on soft silt the bead can be adjusted so that the lead remains in the silt while the rig lies on top.
