Avid VTX+ Bite Alarm

The bite alarm is equipped with the IQ-Sense roller wheel and a bidirectional sensor system that offers eight sensitivity levels, minimises false alarms and reliably detects both forward and backward movements. The ChromaLight LED system features highly visible 5 mm dual LEDs with six selectable colours, three brightness levels and an optional night light. VTX+ compatibility enables stable, high-quality signal transmission with a range of up to 250 metres.

Additional security is provided by the SafeGuard anti-theft system, which warns when the alarm head is switched off. The IPX6-certified, weather-sealed housing reliably protects the electronics and ensures low energy consumption when operated with two AAA batteries. A high-quality cone speaker provides clear acoustic signalling, while a cyan LED indicates low battery power in good time. The alarm has soft-touch buttons for controlling functions and LED settings, as well as separate controls for volume, tone and sensitivity. Deep, rubberised rod rests hold the rod securely in place even in difficult conditions. The rigid 3/8" no-twist thread with locking collar ensures stable, twist-proof mounting. The bite alarm comes with a sturdy clip-on hard case and screwdriver, while receivers and presentation sets are available separately. 2x AAA (not included).
