Avid VTX+ Bite Alarm Set
The VTX+ 2-Rod Bite Alarm Set is a modern bite alarm system for carp anglers, comprising two bite alarms and a matching receiver. The set comes complete with clip-on hard cases, a carrying strap for the receiver and a screwdriver, making it ready for immediate use.
The integrated IQ-Sense Roller-Wheel & Bi-Directional Sensing System offers eight sensitivity levels, detects both forward and backward movements of the line and reduces false alarms. The ChromaLight LED system with highly visible 5 mm double LEDs ensures optimum visibility. A total of six colours (green, blue, red, yellow, white and purple) as well as three brightness levels and an optional night light are available. Thanks to VTX+ EPS receiver compatibility, a stable and reliable signal is transmitted between bite alarms and the receiver over a distance of up to 250 m. One receiver can be paired with up to four bite alarms. In addition, the SafeGuard anti-theft alarm system provides extra security by warning you when an alarm head is switched off. The housing is weatherproof to IPX6 and reliably protects the electronics from rain and moisture. At the same time, the system ensures low energy consumption and is powered by 2× AAA batteries. A cyan LED indicates low battery power, while the current battery status is also displayed on the receiver when it is switched on. Soft-touch buttons and three adjustment wheels for volume, pitch and sensitivity are available for operation. A high-quality cone speaker ensures clear and distinct acoustic indication. The deep rod ears with rubberised inserts hold the rod securely in position, while the sturdy 3/8" thread with knurled locking ring and rubber washer ensures a firm and twist-proof mounting.
In addition, the bite alarm has a 2.5 mm power-out socket with a weatherproof connection, so that illuminated swingers or bobbins can be easily connected. The VTX+ bite alarms and receivers are also available separately. Bite alarms and receivers each require 2x AAA batteries (please order separately).
