Safe handling
- Make sure lures with sharp hooks are always handled safely. Keep them away from body parts, clothing and other people.
- Use pliers when attaching or removing the lure to the hook to minimize the risk of injury.Regular inspection

Storage
- Store lures in a separate, well-sealed box suitable for fishing accessories. This prevents tangling and protects against injury.
- Keep the box dry to prevent rust on the hooks.

Minimize the risk of injury
- Wear protective gloves when changing lures to prevent cuts or punctures from the hooks.
- Using barbless hooks can significantly minimize the risk of injury.

Safety while fishing
- When casting, make sure that there are no people or animals in the casting area to avoid accidents caused by swinging hooks or lures.
- Regularly check the connection between the lure and the fishing line to prevent it from suddenly coming loose during casting.
