Billy Beetle (Green/Black/Pink)

Billy Beetle – the deep diver for big trout
The Balzer Billy Beetle is the ultimate lure for targeting trout during the cold months when they gather deep down—especially trophy rainbow trout. Its sinking design ensures a reliably deep run, keeping the lure in the strike zone where typical shallow runners fail. On slow retrieves, the Billy Beetle’s distinctive movement comes into its own, enticing even the wariest coldwater fish.

Slow retrieve for maximum hits
The real secret? Retrieve the Billy Beetle extra slow, mimicking an injured prey near the lakebed. Its chunky profile creates intense vibrations and pressure waves, drawing attention from lurking giants. This adaptability makes the Billy Beetle your go-to for deep, coldwater fishing and hard-to-reach predatory trout.
